My 1st Europass Course – GeoGebra and Python for STEM and STEAM Teachers

Last week I  held the course at the Finnish Europass premises on Annankatu. I had five marvelous teachers from Slovenia and Italy. The course went well and based on the feedback, the participants also learned something new about GeoGebra and Python. I learnt a lot.

During the week, we became familiar with the Finnish school system, GeoGebra Classic 6, and the Python programming language. All the examples were mathematical. Lesson topics: “What is GeoGebra”, “Basics, graphing with sliders”, “Geometrical constructions”, “Statistics and spreadsheet ”, “CAS and 3D”, “Lists and sequence command”, “Problem solving with GeoGebra”, “ Python with Colab, the basics, int, float, str, list”, “Functions, for loop with if statement, while,  plotting functions”, ”Monte Carlo method”, “Turtle graphics” and “AI, mathematical modules”.

For GeoGebra examples I used GeoGebra Book in Materials as a sharing point and for Python Colab files Google Drive Folder.
